For the past several years, the Board has approached businesses and individuals soliciting items to be used for door prize drawings at our Annual Meeting. The purpose of the door prize drawings is to encourage our homeowners and residents to attend the Annual Meeting. Homeowners and rental residents who attend the Annual Meeting fill out a drawing slip when they register. Immediately following the Annual Meeting, the door prizes are drawn. Those whose names are drawn must be present to win. All available door prizes are given out at the meeting.
We encourage you to frequent these businesses in the coming year. Mention that you reside in the Old Brook Farm Addition and thank our benefactors for their support. In 2024, the following benefactors provided door prize items:
Travis Auto Center… A long standing benefactor and supporter of the Old Brook Farm Association. Each year, Travis provides a gift certificate for one free oil change and vehicle inspection. The auto center is located at 7515 Maplecrest Road just north of Rothman Road. We thank Travis Richardson and his staff for their continued generosity.
Mike’s Car Wash… Another long standing benefactor. Again this year, Mike’s has provided two gift cards for an Express Car Wash. Mike’s has seven locations in the Fort Wayne area, including a location on East State at Coliseum, and on Dupont Road near the entrance to Parkview Regional Hospital campus. We thank Bill Stoots and the Mike’s Car Wash staff for their generous support.
Dos Margaritas Grill... Those among us who enjoy Mexican food are hopeful each year that we might be lucky enough to draw one of the Dos Margaritas Gift Cards. A benefactor from the first year of our door prize drawings, Dos Margaritas provides three $10.00 Gift cards that can be spent at either the Dos Margaritas restaurant or at The Famous Taco. Dos Margaritas is located at 4230 N. Clinton Street, just south of Coliseum Bvd. The Famous Taco is located a few doors farther south at 4104 N. Clinton.
